I've always found them fascinating, they were always the chooks I wanted to see the most when I went to the show as a kid :)Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16213944904796774622noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7880850607374339142.post-70324300547461166952011-08-04T16:47:59.775+10:002011-08-04T16:47:59.775+10:00Ohhhh I LOVE silkies!
We do the scrap collection ...Ohhhh I LOVE silkies!

We do the scrap collection thing too and if someone who doesn't have chooks is coming to visit, we ask them to bring a bag of scraps :). Well, we do have 10 hungry bird mouths to feed.

I agree with you about not giving chooks meat scraps. When I was a kid, I had a bantam who enjoyed....wait for it....Chicken Treat...and hardboiled eggs! So, so wrong lol! The guy we got our chooks from used to chuck in a leg of something for them so my chooks were a bit psycho when I first got them because I made them detox and become vegetarians. :)Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07193896306650823769noreply@blogger.com
