Thanks, anonymous (!). Do I know you? I've had a few people tell me lately that they can't put comments on my blog so just wondering if you're one of those people....
Nope, not at all. As I said earlier...probably just me (and Meredith!) and my "small things amusing small minds" mentality....and the irony that you can now get a free e-reader when you join private health insurance. None of those nice bonuses when we joined way back whenever....
Wendy, you may need a bit of context. There are two or three other Medibank adverts with slightly crazed spruikers with overly wide smiles and none of the people they are spruiking to smile back. But this guy just can't quite hold it together for the whole ad and that tiny smile creeps into his eyes. The YouTube video cuts it just slightly short so you don't get to see the smile moving from his eyes to whole face. You'll just have to trust us Wendy. When you see the whole thing, including the last five seconds, it IS funny! Mx
I trust you my friends. There is a tiny smile at the very end of the Youtube video. And probably the whole thing is very Australian too, the average Aussie isn't into running up to people in the street and doing a spiel. We're a little more conservative than that.
I agree on the conservative thing. And in all of these ads, the Medibank spruiker invades the personal space of the other person just a little bit too much!!

Wow, thanks! I made it into one of your blog titles! Um, but does that mean I need to find this funny? I must be missing something.
