Liam is talking again

Things are getting back to normal, non-stop chattering has now resumed. Thank you God!

Aidan and I did some laps at the indoor pool earlier this evening. It was very relaxing, even when he got bored swimming laps and decided to entertain himself by splashing me with water whenever we went past eachother.

Off to play some piano to continue the relaxing vibe...

I'm so glad he's okay. There's nothing quite like the stomach turning fear you feel when your kids are sick or hurt. I hope he doesn't need surgery and you can go on holidays.

Are you guys at at pressy church now?

Yes we are. We're at Christ Church Currumbin, have been there since not long after we moved here (late 2005 I think it was?). Church has grown heaps since we've been here, so that's been really exciting.

Any luck with the slice recipe? I gave it a go yesterday and thought it tasted better than the ones I made before with the other recipe I had. Very Anzac biscuit-ish, but not too healthy because I put choc bits in mine.

I was hoping you ended up there! I have an envelope of Twist Music Ministry Conference brochures to get to your church in case Alan is interested. Couldn't find a mailing address on the website. Is there a PO Box or something?

My slice was horrible. Well, probably not horrible, just ... below average. I'll try your flapjacks in the next little while.

The church doesn't have a mailing address other than Alan's home address. Since I'm not sure about putting address on the www, happy for you to send to our PO box, PO box 350 Tweed Heads NSW 2485 (Chris is church treasurer so some of the mail comes our way too).

Sad about your slice, I enjoyed mine so much I was thinking of making another one with fruit or sesame seeds in it. But eating it would mean I need to swim a few more laps before we go away...
